Our Story
Andrew and Sue took over the First and Last Bistro back in August 2017. Andrew, an accomplished Chef and Sue with her finance background put their skills together to fulfil the dream of running a restaurant. The preferred area was the South West of England and after many trips they fell in love with the South Hams area of Devon and all it had to offer. The rich natural larder of locally produced, sustainable foods as well as the stunning views and the fresh Devon air made it the ideal location. Andrew was keen to source local seasonal produce to minimise the carbon footprint and help support the local economy.
The philosophy is a straightforward one… Simple, Rustic and Seasonal traditional British food with a “twist”.
